Malaysia International Fashion Week (M-IFW) returns with its seventh instalment this November (from 4th to 8th) at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. Every year, we attempt to outdo ourselves and this year is no different. After a one-year hiatus, we welcome back Islamic Fashion Festival with 18 designers across Asia presenting showcases that celebrate beauty in modesty. 50 designers from the Bumiputera Designers Association are also showing their latest collections; if last year’s show is anything to go by, this will be an exciting, not-to-be-missed event. There are at least another 50 over designers making appearances at this year’s M-IFW – from fashion stalwarts to young upstarts to watch. And we just may have some surprising international flavour in the pipeline!
